And so I analyze my day....
For someone as simple as me, the little things go a long way in pleasing me. I like the way my hair falls the right way in the morning so that I don't have to deal with bed head. I love the way that mornings are just the right temperature. I like how no one is at school yet when I walk to my locker every morning. I love how my table gets full of friends by 7:25 am. I like how it's so easy to get breakfast in the mornings while my other friends get Pepsi with their breakfast sandwhiches. I love how classes go by. I like enjoying my time being in class. I love bonding at breaks and lunch. I like the random things that go on after school. I love library and barkada and confirmation Tuesdays. I like coming home to study. I love my life.
Making a friend feel better when they they need it is such an amazing experience. It's the kind that gives you worth and makes you feel alive. I was asleep when my phone rang at 11:55 pm and it was my friend that needed help studying tomorrow since she couldn't because her parents were fighting. Sitting upright as I texted the reply, I thought of how many times that had been me that was in that situation and knew that I would definitely do everything to help her. She was ssoooooo happy! And for finals this week, I'm sending her three of my study guides for our honors and AP classes cuz I know she won't have time to make her own :] I just wnat to make her smile :]
Today, after second period, I was putting my stuff away in Ronnel's locker and ran into Don. He totally forgot it was Gabriel's birthday today and was like "Omg!" when I told him ahahah That's so unexpected of him :] And then we were walking across the quad and I ask him if he remembered to text Gabriel back this weekend. There went "Omg!" number two since he forgot to reply because he had been doing something at the time. That's fun :] Just the fact that I can make the transfer student say "omg!" so many times is amazing to me, that totally made my day. That and Andre using Victoria's Clinique mirror in English ahahah And Alec having hugged Taylor the wrong way and demonstrating on Andre :] First period APAH was ok. Kind of long due to the inauguration, but it was fine. Us AP kids squeezed into one table ahaha like 6 of us hahaha Chemistry review was boring!
AP lunch session today was fast, but not cool! I wanted bonding time with people! ah, wait until next month when it's twice a week!!! Ah, I'll make time for everything. And now off to Confirmation and studying for finals.
Like I meant to say, a smile is one of the biggest things that make me happy. Helping out Victoria and making Don say "omg!" a billion times today was incredibly life satisfying :] That's the stuff life is made of, happy people that you make happy. So I think it's important to go out and there and make the world a better place by doing just that...
