The Good People of Life, Part II

Lucky for me, there are more good people in my life that I can do another post on. I'm very blessed.

My,my. Time flies from first grade to now. She's always been the nice girl, and although we hung out a lot in grade school, we were never at the best friend status. But then the whole drama scene hit me freshman year, and I don't know how it happened, but we got really close. Lucky for me, she and Camille came to my party, because she took good care of me as well.

I'm grateful for her because she never let me just wallow around in my sadness if I was online. I have pages and pages of comments where she was just trying to help me get through the day without blaming myself for something that they said wasn't my fault. I'd never felt so supported before. We went through the worst week ever, and survived together,too. Family matters? she knows.

Just because I have known her for the shortest amount of time doesn't mean that we aren't close. We're tight! Meeting THIS CHICK the first day of school was nothing compared to the wonderful friend she'd become. Freshman year, we always said "You know who I saw?!" which was short for her teasing me about someone. aha. But we weren't real tight. Remember getting diseased from drinks?!That's over now, all four of us are dealing with that boy or those boys.We grew really tight after the whole drama thing at the beginning of sophomore year.

She was gone the whole first week,I missed her so! And when she returned, I don't know why, but I just told her what went down during the first assembly in the SAC. And she gave me the best advice I'd ever heard. And when she found out I couldn't defend myself by guilt tripping, she went out after school to tell Camille that they'd do it themselves. Wow, who does that, except a best friend? And all this drama that went down after, she was there for me. Worst week ever, she was there. Now, she's here. Even when family things got rough, she was protecting me in any way that she could.

Thank you,God! For all people in my life, especially these. I've learned that they are the good ones, and to not let them go. I cherish them, they're truly my best friends and that is how I'm keeping it. Thank you so much for all that the three of you do. ILY
