For girls that will never have to face with grandpa's death

For girls that will never feel the need to change to fit in

For girls that won't ever get blown away by peer pressure

For girls who won't know the meaning of fear

For girls that can't see past the 'crush' phase of liking

For girls that think guys have cooties

For girls that still think guys have cooties

For girls that will never need anything more than mommy, daddy, and a blanket to feel safe

For girls that will never talk back to mommy

For girls that will never get hit by daddy

For girls that will always love and never hate

You haven't seen the world, lucky little darlings.

You haven't been inundated with reality.

You haven't been charged with the crimes of humanity just yet.

You haven't had to see the truth.

You're still safe.

You're still innocent.

You're still living happily in wonderful spheres of innocence.

But spheres don't last; nothing does.

It all fades away, first and foremost innocent.

And when the sphere bursts and reality seeps into your innocence, tainting it the deep color of truth, I will weep for you.

Because once you enter this world with experience, you'll never make it out.
