I've had enough of you
every little word is insignificant
every tear is nothing but a drop
your voice is a sound that grates upon the ear
and grazes the inside of my mind
it penetrates my conciousness
and irritates me to no avail
deeper and deeper still it goes
into my very soul
Every neuron in my body lights ablaze
until I'm all riled up as if on fire
And nothing else calms the inferno
I know that the end is not near
simply just a relapse
The day shall end with it perishing
but not eternal
for the relapse is brought back by you
Reopening the wounds that have closed partially
in my fruitless efforts to move on
Returning with that infamous glory you now possess
you wield some sort of force over my mine
empowering yourself, conquering mine
I falter at the stand
and fail to defend in the onslaught
As quickly as you arrive, the panic disperses
your departure is swift
the end surfaces
I gather myself up, full of life
strengthening and hoping
hoping to survive and surpass the next onslaught
To win in the next slaughter of my psyche
Gathering fortified weapons for that next battle
The relapse in which I shall fail again.
