A Filipino Day.

Today was Filipino Food Day,so as officer I had to make rice.
Left the house with uncooked rice, it had only been plugged in to cook for less than 5 minutes and there was so much water that I didn't know what to do when I got in the car. However, when Sarah and I opened it to check, it was cooked completely! I don't know how, but it was done and steaming. Scared me.

So I missed 6th period, AP Euro, to go prepare. I also missed 7th,Spanish, to clean up. I came in 5 min, before class was over. And that was the day for me. Preparing was all right, serving in the sun was kind of scorching. And my hands kind of hurt from the tongs, but it was all right. Around one, e-board got to eat haha So we all sat down in the lunch area and ate while everyone else was in class.So worth it. Like Melanie said, "How can anyone not like Filipino food?"

Haaa,sitting with Jackie,Chris,Nolan,Melanie, and Sarah made my day. Jackie has so much energy! She could still dance after eating. Melanie and Sarah were food coma status by the end of it. I only ate a little but got full pretty quickly, which worried Chris and Sarah again. Hmm,"extra hard concrete?" haha And then Mr. Verdi came out and kept us company, he got free food for that,too.

All in all, it was a fun day. Late start. No AP or Spanish. Filipino food. Messing around. Friends. Mmmhmm,that was a good day
